Gallaudet University senior linebacker Tom Pangia, Castleton defensive back Brandon Bergeron and Anna Maria kicker Jamal Mitchell were selected to participate in the third annual National Bowl Game presented by East Preps on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 1 p.m. at J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown, Pa. The game is invite-only and will feature 80 of the top college senior football players in the nation.
The game pits the "Red Nation" team against the "Blue Nation" team which will be coached by former National Football League (NFL) special teams coach Mike Stock and Lehigh Valley Steelhawks (Professional Indoor Football League) head coach Chris Thompson, respectively. A portion of the National Bowl Game's proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Tommy Foundation to help its fight against Autism.
