Gallaudet, Mount Ida, Castleton Improve to 2-0 in ECFC

Castleton held off two late Norwich touchdowns to defeat the Cadets 35-27 and claim the Maple Sap Bucket. Shane Brozowski threw for 499 yards and five touchdowns as the Spartans moved to 2-0 in the ECFC with a road victory at Norwich.

Mount Ida's Scott Drosendhal passed for 244 yards and four touchdowns, and ran for two more as the Mustangs improved to 2-0 in league play defeating Anna Maria 48-35.

Gallaudet earned a road victory defeating Husson 44-14. Bison quarterback Todd Bonheyo accounted for five touchdowns. The freshman rushed for 179 yards and four touchdowns and scored once through the air.

Maritime got their first ECFC win beating Becker 33-7. Privateer running back Gary Bigham rushed for 102 yards and two scores.
