ECFC league play will begin this weekend as Maritime travels to Castleton. Gallaudet is the only other team in action as they host the Apprentice School.
Castleton (1-2) will likely rely heavily on their league leading passing attack. Shane Brozowski and the Spartans average 337 yards per game through the air.
A trio of Maritime (1-1) line backers, Duke Alvora, Pat Lasher and Keith Barnes, are among the league leaders in tackles and will be intent on slowing down the Spartan attack.
The Gallaudet game with Apprentice School has been moved up to a 1 p.m. kick-off at Hotchkiss Field. The move from the original 5 p.m. time to 1 p.m. is due to the forecasted thunder storms set to hit the DC metro area from 4-9 p.m. tomorrow.
The other five ECFC members have byes this week.
