Mount Ida Downed by Wesley; Castleton, Norwich fall in ECAC Bowls

Mount Ida lost to fifth-ranked Wesley 73-14 in their NCAA first round tournament. The Mustangs scored twice in the first half, including a 41-yard interception return to tie the score at 7 half-way through the first quarter. But the Wolverines were too much for Mount Ida racking up 514 yards of total offense.

Norwich gained 317 yards of total offense and staged a second half comeback but could not overcome a 20-0 deficit on the road against Endicott in the ECAC North Atlantic Bowl at Endicott Stadium as the Cadets fell 34-14.

Castleton fell to St. John Fisher 63-7 on Saturday at Growney Stadium in the ECAC Northwest Bowl. The Spartans were held scoreless in the first half for the first time all year and finished the contest with 133 yards of total offense. The Cardinals, meanwhile, totaled 527 yards of offense with six touchdowns.
