OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Shane Brozowski,
Castleton

Brozowski had a career day on Saturday as Castleton won the Maple
Sap Bucket for the first time by defeating Norwich 35-27. The
senior went 33-for-47 and threw for a program-record 499 yards to
go along with five touchdown passes. He also threw a school-record
92-yard pass in the fourth quarter who what proved to be the
game-clinching touchdown.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Keith Barnes,
Maritime (N.Y.)
(Sr, LB - Westbury, N.Y.)
Barnes led all players in tackles in the Privateers' 33-7
home conference victory over Becker on Saturday. The senior
recorded 12 tackles (five solo and seven assisted) and one
quarterback hurry on the day. Barnes had four tackles in two
separate drives, including three in a row from 2nd-and-Goal to
4th-and-Goal to keep the Hawks out of the end zone in the fourth
quarter.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Duke Alvora,
Maritime (N.Y.)

Alvora once again had a great day punting for the
Privateers, this time on a windy day at home in Maritime's 33-7
conference victory over Becker on Saturday. He averaged 40.3 yards
per punt on three punts, including landing one within the Hawks'
20-yard line against the wind that was downed at the Becker
two-yard line. Alvora was all over the field for the Privateers,
playing on the kickoff, kickoff return, punt return and field goal
block teams. He recorded five tackles for Maritime.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Todd Bonheyo,
Gallaudet
(Fr, QB - Frederick, Md.)
Gallaudet freshman quarterback Todd Bonheyo had another stellar
performance as he set new career and season-high marks with 21
rushes for 179 rushing yards, passed for 124 yards (5-of-12) and
ran in four touchdowns and threw one touchdown pass in the 44-14
win over Husson. Bonheyo scored on runs of 43, 41 and 8 yards in
the first half and added a 1-yard run midway through the fourth
quarter to cap off his day.
