Conference play reaches halfway point

ECFC co-leader Mount Ida (5-1, 3-0 ECFC) hosts Maritime (3-3, 2-1 ECFC). The last two meetings have been decided by two points with the Privateers rallying for a touchdown in the last minute to down the Mustangs 37-35 on their last trip to Newton in 2010.

Co-leader Castleton (4-2, 3-0 ECFC) boasts the nation's second ranked passing attack averaging 382 yards per game. The Spartans will face a test as they travel to Anna Maria (1-5, 0-3 ECFC) who are among the nation's best in pass defense allowing only 145 yards through the air.

Galladuet (4-2, 2-1 ECFC) will travel to Becker (2-4, 1-2 ECFC) to meet the Hawks. The Bison look to get back on track following a home loss to Norwich last week. In their two conference wins, Gallaudet rushed for over 300 yards per game.

Husson (1-5, 0-3 ECFC) is on the road at Norwich (4-2, 1-2 ECFC). The visiting Eagles will look to hold the Cadet rushing attack in check. Norwich is averaging a cconference leading 263 yards on the ground, 16th best in the country.
