Mount Ida to Play Castleton for ECFC Title

The winner of Saturday's matchup in Vermont between Mount Ida (7-2, 5-1 ECFC) and Castleton (7-2, 6-0 ECFC) will earn the 2012 ECFC title and an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Championship.

Castleton will be without star senior quarterback Shane Brozowski who broke his leg last week in a win at Husson. The Spartan passing attack, ranked second in the nation averaging 383 yards per game, will rely on the arm of freshman George Busharis. Junior wide reciever Brandon Boyle leads the country averaging 150 yards per contest.

Mount Ida senior quarterback Scott Drosendahl will orchastrate the Mustang offense. Drosendahl is ranked sixth nationally in passing efficiency connecting on 63.9% of his passes during conference play good for 246 yards per game.
