Paxton, Mass - Anna Maria College announces that Vincent Sinagra, head coach for the College's football team, has been named Associate Director of Athletics.
Sinagra will assume the responsibilities of the current athletic director, Stanley Vieira, who is leaving AMC to pursue doctoral studies abroad. As Associate Athletic Director, Mr. Sinagra will oversee the entire athletic program at Anna Maria College, which includes 17 men's and women's NCAA Division III sports teams, while the College conducts its search for a new director. Sinagra will also continue to serve as the head coach for the football team during this transition.
Sinagra joined AMC as a member of the football coaching staff in 2010, and was elevated to Head Coach in 2012. He brought over 30 years of coaching experience with him, including 16 years at the Division I level with schools such as Stony Brook, Holy Cross, Fordham and Norfolk State.
Mr. Sinagra is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Health, as well as his Master's Degree in Physical Education, Health, and Recreation.
