Maritime handed Gallaudet their first loss of the season, 7-6 as the Privateers held the Bison to a season low 190 yards of total offense. Maritime stopped a 2-point try with less than four minutes remaining that would have given Gallaudet the lead.
Norwich senior defensive back Andy Mangin returned two interceptions for touchdowns in the fourth quarter to lead the Norwich to a 31-13 win at Castleton. The Maple Sap Bucket will now return to Norwich after spending a year with Castleton.
Gallaudet and Norwich each finished tied atop the conference standings at 6-1. Gallaudet earns the ECFC Championship and automatic berth into the NCAA Division III tournament having defeated Norwich 30-22 on October 12th in Washington, D.C.
A stalwart defensive effort helped Mount Ida defeat Husson 6-0. The only score of the day came just over four minutes into the game when sophomore Melquan Pinkney capped an eight play, 82 yard drive with a 21-yard scamper into the end zone for the Mustangs.
On Friday night, Becker freshman Romario Vincent scored on a 4-yard run with 6:19 remaining in the game to give Becker a victory over rival Anna Maria 24-19.
