Sophomore running back Matthew Romasco ran for 181 yards on 20 carries to help lead the Hawks to a 24-19 win over Anna Maria on Friday night. Romasco averaged over 9.0 yards per carry in the win.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Andy Mangin, Norwich
(Jr, LB - Concord, Mass.)
Mangin had a career day by returning two interceptions for touchdowns on back-to-back Castleton fourth quarter drives to lead Norwich to a 31-13 win on Saturday. Mangin recorded his first interception on the first play of Castleton's first drive of the quarter and returned it for 26 yards with 5:57 to play. 1:08 later, he picked another Tyler Higley pass, this time on the Castleton 37-yard line, which he returned for his second score of the day. In addition, Mangin totaled 11 tackles and was responsible for two of the three sacks Norwich recorded in the win.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Wesley Medeiros, Norwich

Medeiros scored seven crucial points for Norwich in Saturday's 31-13 win against Castleton. He ended a Norwich scoring drought of 33:06 minutes by nailing a 28-yard field goal, bringing the Cadets within three at 13-10. He also hit all four extra-point attempts to finish the regular season a perfect 31-for-31 on extra-point attempts.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
John Arny, Maritime (N.Y.)

Freshman punter John Arny helped play a big role in special teams as the Privateers defeated No. 25 Gallaudet on Saturday by the score of 7-6 on Saturday afternoon. Arny collected 153 yards on four boots for Maritime including a 52-yard kick for his second longest punt of the season. At the end of the first quarter, Arny's punt was fair caught in Gallaudet territory, the first of two fair catches by the receiving team in the first half. At the end of the third quarter with the Privateers looking to hold onto its lead, Arny pinned the Bison at their own 21 yard line with a 52-yard punt which eventually resulted in a 3-and-out for the Bison. His final punt on the next possession, was pinned back at the Bison 10-yard line for his 11th punt inside opponents' 20-yard lines this season.
