OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Al Georgio, Norwich
(Jr, RB - West Greenwich, R.I.)
Georgio ran for 161 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Cadets to a 42-21 win against SUNY Maritime College on Saturday afternoon. His first score of the day came on a 57-yard run with 3:22 left to play in the first quarter. He added a 31-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, and scored Norwich's last touchdown on a 17-yard run with 5:05 to play in the game. Georgio totaled a single-game career-best 8.9 yards per carry, as he totaled his 161 yards on 18 attempts.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kameron Knight, Maritime (N.Y.)

Sophomore linebacker Kameron Knight amassed a season-best and tied a career-high with 11 tackles on Saturday afternoon against Norwich, including nine solo tackles on the game. Included in his 11 tackles was also a career-best with 2.5 tackles for loss against the Cadets, which totaled a loss of 14 yards for the Norwich offense. Knight also collected a pair of forced fumbles for the Privateers, both of which were recovered by the Privateers to start key offensive drives that led to 14 points for Maritime off of the turnovers caused by Knight.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Wesley Medeiros, Norwich

Medeiros was unstoppable in Norwich's 42-21 win against Maritime on Saturday. He was successful on both of his field goal attempts, including a career-long 47-yard field goal, just five yards shy of the Norwich school record of 52-yards. The 47-yard kick marked Norwich's second scoring play of the day and broke open an early tie to give the Cadets the 10-7 advantage midway through the first quarter. In the second half, Medeiros hit a 29-yard field goal to put Norwich up 20-7. The rookie kicker also finished 4-for-4 on extra-point attempts to total 10 points on the afternoon.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
EJ Isom, Mount Ida
(Fr, RB - Cranston, R.I.)
Isom had a stand-out day running the ball for Mount Ida, gaining 108 yards on just 9 rushes, an average of 12.0 yards per rush. Isom scampered for two touchdowns, both on 30-yard bursts to the outside of the tackles. Isom gave the Mustangs a 26-21 lead with his first TD late in the first half, a lead they would not relinquish in their 56-34 win over Anna Maria.
