Keystone Offensive Line Named To D3football.com Team Of The Week

KILLINGWORTH, Conn. — After anchoring the Giants to a 45-44 overtime win at Dean in the 2022 season finale, the Keystone College offensive line has been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week.

Keystone's offensive line last week included Josh Leander (Jersey City, N.J.), Jon Naniewicz (Greenfield Twp., Pa.), James Campos (Tampa, Fla.), Christopher Woolaston (Paterson, N.J.), Josh Moore (Clinton, Md.).

The big guys up front led the Giants in scoring six total TDs in their 45-44 win in OT vs Dean.

Keystone produced a rushing attack of 394 total yards on 48 carries for 8.2 yards per carry and four total TDs on the ground. 

The Giants also had a total of 527 yards on the day and gave up zero sacks.

The D3football.com Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware, is D3football.com's weekly honor roll, which is currently in its 24th season of recognizing the top performance at each position from the previous week. 

In total, 26 student-athletes are chosen to the honor roll each week among all 240 NCAA Division III programs across the country.

Student-athletes are nominated by their school's sports information directors.

Today's announcement marks the first the Keystone football program has received D3football.com Team of the Week accolades, based on the organization's record books.

It also represents the sixth honor for the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) this season.

Gallaudet sophomore slot/quarterback Brandon Washington (Citronelle, Ala.) has won the award twice (11/8, 9/20), while fellow teammate Zefan Nathanson (Manor, Texas), Alfred State senior safety Rylie Van Fleet (Endwell, N.Y.), and Anna Maria senior wide receiver Justin McMillian (Middletown, Conn.) have all been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week as well.


About the ECFC

The Eastern Collegiate Football Conference was formed in the spring of 2009 as an NCAA Division III single-sport football conference. The conference, named after the geographic location of the institutions began competition in the fall of 2009.

Current members are Alfred State College (Alfred, NY), Anna Maria College (Worcester, MA), Castleton University (Castleton, VT.), Dean College (Franklin, MA), Gallaudet University (Washington, D.C.), Keystone College (La Plume, PA), and Maritime College State University of New York (Throggs Neck, NY).

The mission of the conference is to:

  1. Promote intercollegiate varsity football as an integral part of the educational experience of all competitors. 
  2. Establish a conference schedule and determine a conference championship that will represent the conference as the automatic qualifier to the NCAA national tournament.
  3. Adopt sportsmanship, fair play, moral integrity, and competitive excellence as cornerstones of the conference.
