With one game remaining, three teams have a shot at claiming the ECFC title and automatic bid to the NCAA Division III football championship.
Husson stands atop unbeaten in conference play (7-1, 6-0 ECFC). The Eagles travel south to meet Mount Ida (5-4, 5-1 ECFC). With a victory, Husson will earn their first ECFC title.
Norwich, who sits a game back (7-2, 6-1 ECFC) hosts in-state rival Castleton (6-3, 4-2 ECFC).
Defending champion Gallaudet (2-6, 2-4 ECFC) hosts Maritime (3-6, 2-4 ECFC) while Becker (0-9, 0-6 ECFC) and Anna Maria (0-9, 0-6 ECFC) face off each looking for their first win of the season.

Below are the three possible title scenarios:
SCENARIO 1: Husson defeats Mount Ida, Husson will be the outright champion at 7-0.
SCENARIO 2: If Mount Ida defeats Husson, and Castleton defeats Norwich, Mount Ida will be the champion with the head to head victory over Husson. Mount Ida would finish 6-1, Husson 6-1 with Castleton 5-2 and Norwich 5-2.
SCENARIO 3: If Mount Ida defeats Husson, and Norwich defeats Castleton, then Husson, Mount Ida and Norwich will be tied at 6-1. The conference will use predetermined tie-breakers including Opponents Winning Percentage (OWP), part of the NCAA selection and seeding criteria, to crown a champion. That team will receive the automatic berth to the tournament.
