With just under eight minutes left in the opening quarter, he lined up for a 27-yard field goal and sent the ball through the uprights for his 18th career field goal, setting the new program record that had stood for three seasons. He later tacked on a 35-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter to cap of the scoring for Maritime.
