Maritime blocked what would've been a game-tying two-point conversion with 51 seconds left on the clock and then recovered the ensuing on-side kick to pull out a 31-29 victory over visiting Mount Ida. The Privateers stayed unbeaten in the conference with a 4-0 mark. Senior Jamie Spanopoulos led the Privateers' ground game with a game-high 127 yards and two touchdowns.
Norwich remained unbeaten in league play as five different players tallied touchdowns as part of Norwich University's 41-7 win over Husson.
Gallaudet's offense ran for a season-high 366 yards on 56 carries and accumulated a season best 460 yards of total offense as the Bison defeated the visiting Becker Hawks 44-20 before a season record 3,854 fans at Hotchkiss Field.
Castleton quarterback Shane Brozowski threw for 452 yards and 4 touchdowns en-route to a non-conference 39-34 comeback victory over host Anna Maria College at AMCAT field on Saturday evening.
