During halftime of the game, McClain will be recognized on the field of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome along with 21 other members of the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team® for his selection for one of the most prestigious off-the-field honors in college football.

    The Endicott football team closed out their 2011 season with a 31-22 victory over Mount Ida in the ECAC Division III North Atlantic Bowl on Saturday afternoon thanks in part to a 233-yard, two touchdown passing performance by senior quarterback Phil Konopka (Shelton, Conn.) who was named the game's Most Outstanding Player.

    The Maritime football team lost, 16-9, to the Norwich University Cadets on Saturday afternoon at Reinhart Field. The loss was the Privateers first at home since the 2009 regular-season finale. Maritime falls to 7-2 overall (5-1 ECFC), while the Cadets finish the regular season with a 7-3 record and a perfect 7-0 mark in ECFC action to clinch their second conference championship and, with it, an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
