Norwich Travels to Delaware Valley for NCAA Playoffs

NORTHFIELD, VT.– Norwich University embarks on its first NCAA Division III playoff experience with a 12 p.m. kickoff at Lipinski Field inside James Work Memorial Stadium on Delaware Valley College's campus at Doylestown, Pa., Saturday, Nov. 19.

For fans, friends and alumni planning on attending the game, tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for students as set by the NCAA. Audio broadcast stream and live statistics links will be available via www.norwichathletics.com, the Internet home of Norwich University athletics, for those that cannot make the trip.

Coach Mark Murnyack's team earned the school's first-ever NCAA playoff appearance by winning the program's second Eastern Collegiate Football Conference title in the last three seasons. The Cadets (7-3) rolled through the league unbeaten and capped off the conference slate with a 16-9 win over SUNY-Maritime Nov. 5.

Delaware Valley (10-0) is making its third straight trip to the NCAA playoffs and the fifth in program history. The Aggies won their fourth consecutive Middle Atlantic Conference championship after upending league rival Widener 56-28 Nov. 12.
