16 ECFC Student-Athletes named to NFF Hampshire Honor SocietyApril 10, 2019IRVING, Texas - The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced today the members of the 2019 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players from all divisions of play who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers. An all-time high of 1,643 players from a record 424 schools qualified for membership in the Society's 13th year.

Mickey Rehring Announced as Head Coach for Maritime FootballFebruary 28, 2019Mickey Rehring has been named the new head coach of the Maritime College football program, as announced by Director of Athletics, Kristofer Schnatz on Monday, Feb. 25 at 4 p.m. Coach Rehring joins the Privateers after seven seasons with Johns Hopkins University as the Defensive Coordinator and Linebackers Coach from 2012-2018.

Husson & Maritime Fall in Postseason ContestsNovember 20, 2018MARSHFIELD, Mass. - Husson University and Maritime College each lost in their postseason games this past weekend. The Eagles fell to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute 38-14 in an NCAA Football First Round game while Springfield College defeated the Privateers 17-14 in a New England Bowl matchup.

The committee selected teams based on conference results and competition within an institution's respective evaluation region. Husson will be traveling to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y. for the first meeting between the Eagles and Engineers in program history on Saturday, November 17th.
