2024 ECFC Weekly Release — Week #3

KILLINGWORTH, Conn. — The Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) has released its weekly award winners for games played through Sunday, September 22.

The following student-athletes have been honored for their standout performances.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Brandon Washington (Citronelle, Ala), Gallaudet, Sr., QB
  • Filled the stat last week for the Bison contributing in all three phases on offense
  • As a rusher, scored once (1 yard) and compiled 45 yards on 15 attempts
  • As a receiver, scored another TD (60 yards) and hauled in four catches for 91 yards
  • The senior QB also completed three of five pass attempts for 27 yards

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Silas Egenlauf (Spencerport, N.Y.), Alfred State, Sr., LB
  • Registered a season-high/league-high 16 tackles 
  • Notched eight solo tackles, three tackles for a loss, and forced one fumble
  • Had five more tackles than the second-best performance across the league on the week

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Andrae' Green (Washington, D.C.), Gallaudet, Jr., DB/P
  • Tallied 219 yards on seven punts (31.3 average, long 52)
  • Three of his punts landed inside the 20 (one touchback)
  • Also logged 92 yards on four kickoff returns (long 28)
  • Defensively, collected five tackles (0.5 TFL) and one pass breakup

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Delvin Pryor (Kissimmee, Fla.)
, Anna Maria, Fr., WR
  • Secured five catches for 112 yards (22.4 average, 61 long)
  • His catch, yards, and longest reception were all career-highs
  • First time in his career breaking the century mark for receiving yards (two games)

About the ECFC

The Eastern Collegiate Football Conference was formed in the spring of 2009 as an NCAA Division III single-sport football conference. The conference, named after the geographic location of the institutions began competition in the fall of 2009.

Current members are Alfred State College (Alfred, NY), Anna Maria College (Worcester, MA), Dean College (Franklin, MA), and Gallaudet University (Washington, D.C.).

  1. Promote intercollegiate varsity football as an integral part of the educational experience of all competitors. 
  2. Establish a conference schedule and determine a conference championship that will represent the conference as the automatic qualifier to the NCAA national tournament.
  3. Adopt sportsmanship, fair play, moral integrity, and competitive excellence as cornerstones of the conference.
