The Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) is counting down the days until kickoff by highlighting league facts and statistics while also highlighting players to watch from all eight institutions!
A new player or fact will be featured on twitter every day leading up to kickoff on Thursday, August 31 when Alfred State travels to Coast Guard for the first game of the 2017 season. Be sure to follow @d3ecfc on twitter to catch all the highlights.

Terrell Campbell returns to the AMCATS' defensive line for his junior campaign. Campbell logged 16 tackles after being limited to seven games in 2016.

Senior Tight End DJ Allen is back in action for Husson after posting 225 receiving yards on 25 catches in 2016. The versatile receiver also added two touchdowns.

Mount Ida College's Chris Medeiros is back for his senior season after ranking fourth on the Mustangs in tackles last season with 62.

Maritime returns sophomore linebacker Liam Bailey for the 2017 season. In his rookie campaign Bailey registered 68 tackles (tops for all Privateer returners), six tackles for loss and a sack.

Jakob Trautwein led the ECFC in tackles last season with 142. He returns for his senior season to lead Castleton's defensive unit in 2017.

David Curry led the Bulldogs in passing last season with 962 yards. He also added eight passing touchdowns and rushed for another four.

Anna Maria will look to junior defensive lineman Kai Nero-Clark to fuel the AMCATS' defense. In 2016 Nero-Clark post 31 tackles and three sacks.

Senior kicker Zack Goodwin is back for Alfred State as the Pioneers debut in the ECFC. In 2016 he notched 17 points including a season-high nine against Rochester.

Gallaudet returns a pair of junior offensive linemen in Brad Peterson and Drew Faulkner for the 2017 season. In 2016 the Gallaudet offense converted 56% of their red zone opportunities for touchdowns behind a powerful o-line.

Jean Gabriel returns to Husson for his senior campaign after ranking second in the ECFC in blocks with three. He also added two picks on the season for the Eagles.
