Marshfield, MASS. - Four Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) student-athletes have been honored as CoSIDA Academic All-District honorees. Jacob Bisson of Dean College and the trio of Cassmeir Hutchinson, Cress Fisher and Matthew Cracraft of Gallaudet University were recognized.

The 2019 Academic All-District® Football Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First- and second-team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.

Bisson was the kicker for the ECFC champion Bulldogs this season. In eight games he posted 21 points on 18 PAT's and one field goal. The sophomore is a sport management major at Dean and boasting a 3.69 g.p.a.

Cracraft has been a cog in Gallaudet's offensive line this season, appearing in all eight Bison contests. The senior is a Physical Education & Recreation major at Gallaudet and caries a 3.67 g.p.a. He was also recently named a nominee for the 2019 Mayo Clinic Comeback Player of the Year. The Ferris, Texas, native suffered a torn ACL during team workouts in December 2018 and was forced to undergo reconstruction surgery in March 2018. The challenge of rehabilitating from the surgery was not unfamiliar to him as he had his other ACL repaired during high school. The injury forced him to miss the entire 2018 season. He helped bolster a Bison offensive line which averaged 25.5 points and 323.3 yards per game.

Fisher, a fellow offensive linemate to Cracraft, also logged time in all eight Bison games this season. A Boyertown, Pa. native, Fisher is an Art & Media Design major at Gallaudet all while maintaining a 3.59 g.p.a.

Hutchinson was the Bison's second-leading rusher this season. He ran for 520 yards, averaging 65.0 yards per game, and also added two touchdowns on the ground. The versatile sophomore also hauled in seven catches for Gallaudet this season, including one for a touchdown. He also led the Bison in all-purpose yards, averaging 103.9 yards per game, thanks to his work on special teams as well (254 kick return yards & 27 punt return yards). The sophomore is majoring in Information Technology and carries an impressive 3.82 g.p.a.
