MARSHFIELD, Mass. – The Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) weekly awards were announced for games through Sunday, November 10th. Anna Maria teammates Tanner Kingsley (Beacon Falls, Conn.) and Adam Black (Merrimack, N.H.) took home Offensive Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively. Castleton’s Devin Wollner (Keyport, N.J.) earned Rookie of the Week while Alfred State’s Rylie Van Fleet (Endwell, N.Y.) was named Special Teams Player of the Week.

Offensive Player of the Week

Tanner Kingsley – Anna Maria College
(Senior, QB – Beacon Falls, Conn.)

Tanner was an integral part of the AMCATS win last Saturday over Gallaudet, after completing 76% of his passes and ending with a 224.6 efficiency rating. Kingsley threw for 285 yards completing 19 of 25 passes, for an average of 11.4 yards per completion. He also had a season high four touchdown passes with a long of 65 yards.

Defensive Player of the Week

Adam Black – Anna Maria College
(Junior, DL - Merrimack, N.H.)

Whenever the AMCATS needed a big stop, Black delivered that in Saturday’s win over Gallaudet. He had a team-high eight tackles, including six solo stops and two assisted. He also had a career-high 2.5 sacks in the game, resulting in 21 negative yards for the opposing offense.

Rookie of the Week

Devin Wollner – Castleton University
(Freshman, RB - Keyport, N.J.)

Wollner went off for Castleton in the season finale, leading the Spartans to a road victory and spoiling Dean's perfect record in ECFC play. The freshman toted the ball 19 times for 94 yards and three touchdowns. He scored twice before the halftime break as Castleton got out to a 31-6 lead, then put the game away with a 21-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter.

Special Teams Player of the Week

Rylie Van Fleet – Alfred State
(Freshman, DB - Endwell, N.Y.)

Van Fleet had a huge 75-yard punt return for a touchdown in the 4th quarter that started the Pioneers comeback. He also had seven tackles defensively and a fumble recovery.
