OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Zack Chilcott, Maritime (N.Y.)
(Jr, QB - Kingston, N.Y.)
Quarterback Zack Chilcott set a Privateer record with 319 total offensive yards en route to a 31-30 victory over Mass. Maritime. The junior accounted for a team-high 151 yards on the ground, while also completing nine passes for a total of 168 yards. Chilcott also accounted for three of Maritime's four touchdowns, as he ran for a pair and also threw for one.

 


DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Chris Klass, Maritime (N.Y.)
(Sr, DB - Nanuet, N.Y.)
Senior Chris Klass had a pair of interceptions and blocked his second kick in as many weeks on a PAT attempt by the Buccaneers, which proved to be the difference in the game. The defensive back also averaged just under 16-yards per kick off return, while averaging 22 yards on his three punt returns.

 

 


SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Wesley Medeiros, Norwich
(So, K - Gilford, N.H.)
Medeiros was superb all afternoon for Norwich in its kicking game as he helped the Cadets to a big 10-7 win over St. Lawrence. Medeiros went 1-for-1 on his field goal attempts, added an extra point for a four-point day and punted seven times for a 34.3 yard average with a long of 46. 

 

 


ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Brian Price, Maritime (N.Y.)
(Jr, DB - New York, N.Y.)
Brian Price, competing in just his second collegiate football game was one of the key defensive cogs for the Privateers in their 31-30 victory over Mass. Maritime on Thursday evening. Price led all of Maritime's defense with a game-high nine tackles on the evening from his cornerback position. Included in his tackles, were seven coming in the solo variety. Price also had a pair of pass breakups.
