Selected to NCAA Tournament; Will Travel to Alfred in First
Round
The Maritime football team was selected to compete in the 2010
NCAA Division III Football Tournament, announced Sunday afternoon
on ESPNews. The Privateers, who earned an at-large bid to the
national tournament, will travel to Alfred University next
Saturday, Nov. 20, for a 12 p.m. noon kickoff in their opening
round matchup.
Norwich Will Host
Framingham State in ECAC Northeast Bowl Game
The Norwich football team was rewarded for its solid season on
Sunday night as the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference
announced the Cadets will host Framingham State at Sabine Field on
Saturday, Nov. 20 at noon in an ECFC Bowl Game.
Mount Ida
will Travel to Springfield for ECAC North Atlantic Bowl
Game
After a 6-4 regular season, Mount Ida will travel to Springfield
College (8-2) in the ECAC North Atlantic Bowl Game. The Mustangs
and Pride will kickoff at noon on Saturday, November 20.
