OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kris Sabourin, Norwich University

Sophomore QB Kris Sabourin amassed 273 yards of total offense on
Saturday in leading Norwich University past Western New England
College, 35-7, at Sabine Field. Sabourin threw for 143 yards and
three touchdowns, while also leading the Cadets' ground game with
114 rushing yards.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Keith Barnes, Maritime College
(So., LB - Westbury, N.Y.)
Barnes was all over the field in the Privateers season-opening
15-12 home win over Mass. Maritime in the Fourth Annual Chowder
Bowl Thursday night recording a game-high 17 tackles (14 solo and 3
assisted), including one tackle for a loss of eight yards.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Thomas Davis, Maritime College
(Fr., KR/RB - Westbury, N.Y.)
After Mass. Maritime scored to go ahead 12-7 late in the fourth
quarter, Davis return the ensuing kickoff 22 yards, setting up
great field position for the Privateers at their own 42-yard line.
He later went on to score the go-ahead touchdown to propel Maritime
to a 15-12 win over the Buccaneers.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Gabriel Aguilar, Castleton
(Fr., OLB - Orange, Vt.)
Aguilar was impressive in his Spartan debut, making nine tackles
(seven solo), including three that went for a loss. Aguilar also
forced a fumble in his first collegiate game. Aguilar was
instrumental in containing the outside running game of Plymouth
State in a 16-14 loss.
