Following their 15-3 win over N.Y. Maritime on Octpber 31, the Norwich University Cadets have secured the top seed and will host the inaugural ECFC Championship game on Saturday, November 14.

Mount Ida earned a title berth after finishing the regular season tied in second place with Gallaudet at 4-2. Mount Ida holds the tiebreak having defeated Gallaudet 23-6 on September 19.

The Mustangs won their final regular season conference contest, a 29-28 victory over Husson on October 31 for their fourth conference victory. Gallaudet's come from behind 16-13 victory on Friday, November 6 pushed the Bison to 4-2 and eliminated SUNY Maritime who fell to 3-3.

The 2009 ECFC Championship will be a one game championship between the top two seeds following regular season play. The contest will be November 14th at the number one seed. Time of the contest is 12:30pm.
